Denizli, in Türkiye’s inner Aegean region, exports billions of dollars of goods a year. The 2024-2028 regional plan of the South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA), using TÜİK data, puts the province’s 2022 exports at 4.51 billion dollars, led by textile products, basic metals, electrical machinery, metal goods and apparel. By 2023 data Denizli ranked first in Türkiye for home textile exports, more than 40 dyehouses operate in the province, and steel is the second-largest export line after apparel and ready-made goods.

That export profile shapes the software problem. European retailers want orders, shipping notices and sustainability data in their own formats, and a color complaint cannot be traced if the dye recipe, fabric lot and lab result live in different files. The plan also notes that a local software sector has been growing in step with these industries. ## Industrial zones, technopark and university

- **Organized industrial zones:** GEKA lists Denizli OSB at 503 hectares and Çardak OSB at 325.5 hectares, both operating, alongside the leather and mixed OSB and an agriculture-based OSB in Sarayköy. Infrastructure is being prepared for a specialized machinery OSB.
- **Free zone and rail:** The plan places Denizli OSB, the leather OSB, Çardak Özdemir Sabancı OSB and the Denizli Free Zone along the rail line and calls for a spur connection that would give manufacturers a rail route to İzmir’s ports.
- **Pamukkale Teknokent:** The technology development zone of Pamukkale University, which also houses GEKA’s headquarters. The plan proposes an incubation center there for games, animation, AR and VR, blockchain and AI startups.
- **Pamukkale University:** Named in the plan as the region’s source of engineering research and skilled graduates for industry.

## GEKA’s 2026 program and national support

GEKA’s 2026 Competitive Industrial Enterprises program supports small, medium and large manufacturers in preparing studies, analyses, roadmaps and investment plans for green and digital transformation. The budget is 25 million Turkish lira, with support of up to 80% and a maximum of 400,000 lira per project over up to six months. The sixth and final application window closed on October 15, 2026.

For software development and R&D, TÜBİTAK’s 1501 and 1507 programs apply, and KOSGEB’s SME digital transformation program covers digitalization investments. Which program fits the implementation of a roadmap is a separate question for each program’s guide. We do not promise eligibility; we write the technical scope and work packages so they are ready for an application.

## How a project with us is organized

In the 30-minute discovery call we cover what your buyers demand, the ERP and production systems you run, and the quality problem that costs the most. A founder then presents the scope. For risky components such as a vision system or a color prediction model, we start with a small proof of concept on real data.

Development runs from our engineering offices in Adana and Ankara TEKMER. Camera installation on a line or training for your team is scheduled during discovery when it is needed. We go live with access control and monitoring, hand over runbooks and can keep an embedded team on the system afterward.

### Does ALGOFACT have a team based in Denizli?

No. Our engineering offices are in Adana (Çukurova) and Ankara TEKMER (Çankaya). Denizli clients work with us online, and any on-site work is identified during discovery.

### We are a European retailer sourcing from Denizli. Can you connect our supplier data to our systems?

Yes, when the supplier agrees to share it. We build the integration between the mill’s ERP and your EDI or supplier portal and agree with both sides which fields are exchanged and how often.

### Can AI improve right-first-time color in our dyehouse?

If past recipes, lots and lab measurements are recorded consistently, a prediction model is realistic. We assess data quality first and measure the model on real batches in a small proof of concept.

### We completed a roadmap under GEKA’s program. Can you implement it?
