ALGOFACT designs and builds SaaS products for founders and for companies turning internal software into something they can sell. We set up multi-tenant architecture with tenant data isolation, subscription billing, user onboarding and the product’s own admin console from the start, then plan the first customer release and the infrastructure growth will need as separate phases. Products go live with automated deployment, monitoring and runbooks, and the code and accounts stay with you.

## Key facts

- **Architecture:** Multi-tenant with tenant isolation
- **Revenue plumbing:** Subscriptions, trials, usage-based billing
- **Identity:** Organizations, roles and enterprise SSO
- **Operations:** CI/CD, separate environments, monitoring
- **Information security:** ISO 27001:2022
- **Phases:** MVP, first paying customers, scale

## Is SaaS the right model for your product?

SaaS means serving many customers from one codebase and one operations team. It fits when customers share the same problem, setup and customization needs are limited, and the business model is recurring revenue. If every customer needs its own installation and its own code branch, you are really running a services business, and SaaS architecture will add cost rather than remove it.

A common variant is a company that built software for its own operation and now wants to sell it to others in its industry. The hard part of that move is splitting a data model written for one customer into isolated tenants, and turning customer-specific behavior that was hard-coded into settings an admin can change.

If the idea has not been validated with users yet, start smaller. Our Venture Studio line runs MVP builds for that stage, on an architecture that can grow into a full SaaS product once the market responds.

## Where this applies

Examples from product work described on our use cases page.

### Vertical B2B products

Products that solve one job for one industry, such as the real estate valuation platform with AI-based checks built for Bora AI and the AI-supported RFP generator for supply chain teams built for RFx Engine.

### Data and analytics platforms

Products where customers bring data and get insight back, such as the user transaction data analytics platform built for Soldo.

### AI-first products

Platforms with a model at their core. Luwian’s model risk management and governance platform and Dioscorium’s cardiac prediction platform were both built as MVPs.

### Subscription content and membership

Paid access to content or services, such as the digital newspaper platform and payment infrastructure built for Jineps.

### Internal software turned product

Single-company applications reworked with tenant isolation, configurable settings and self-service signup so they can be sold to other organizations.

## Roadmap from MVP to scale

### MVP

One job for one customer segment. Tenant isolation and authentication are done right from day one; billing can be manual or a simple subscription tool.

### First paying customers

Self-service signup, trials, plans and seat limits, onboarding emails, per-tenant usage metering and support screens for your own team.

### Growth

Enterprise SSO, audit logs, custom roles and data export for larger buyers; caching, queues and background jobs for performance.

### Scale and enterprise sales

Moving large tenants to dedicated databases, regional data residency, service-level monitoring and documentation ready for security reviews.

## How the project runs

### Product and pricing session

We pin down the target customer, the pricing unit (seat, record, transaction) and the first release scope. The pricing unit shapes the data model directly.

### Tenancy model and architecture

Shared schema, schema per tenant or database per tenant, chosen on cost, isolation and customer expectations, with the reasoning written down.

### Platform core first

Identity, organizations and users, subscriptions and billing, notifications and the admin console are built before product features.

### Features and beta

The features that create value ship in short cycles, and usage data is collected with selected beta customers.

### Launch and operations

Automated deployment, error and cost monitoring, backups and an incident runbook at launch. An optional embedded team keeps building afterward.

## Tenant isolation, compliance and enterprise readiness

The defining security risk in SaaS is one tenant seeing another tenant’s data. We make the tenant identifier mandatory on every query, add a second layer with database mechanisms such as PostgreSQL row-level security, and run automated tests that deliberately attempt cross-tenant access.

Enterprise buyers send security questionnaires before they sign. ALGOFACT’s ISO 27001:2022 certified information security management, access control and logging make those easier to answer, although certifying your product is a separate project. For customers in the EU we design for GDPR and data residency from the start, and for KVKK when the product serves users in Türkiye.

## What you receive

### Product roadmap

Scope split into MVP, first customers and scale phases.

### Multi-tenant platform

The working product with identity, organization, subscription and admin modules.

### Billing integration

Subscriptions, trials, plan changes and invoices, connected to your payment provider.

### Infrastructure as code

Environments, deployment pipeline and monitoring rules defined in code.

### Operations runbooks

Incident response, restore from backup and new-tenant provisioning.

## Questions

### Does every SaaS product need multi-tenancy?

Most do, because one codebase and one operating cost are what make SaaS economics work. For products sold to a handful of large enterprises, a dedicated deployment per customer can be the better fit. We decide together based on your customer profile and isolation expectations.

### Should we build billing ourselves?

Rarely. Mature billing services handle subscriptions, trials, proration and tax, and integrating one is safer than writing your own engine. If you invoice customers in Türkiye, e-invoicing runs alongside it through an authorized integrator.

### Who owns the product and the IP?

You do. Architecture, repositories, cloud accounts and runbooks stay with your team, and the specifics are written into the project contract.

### Can our own engineers take over later?

Yes. Handover is planned from the start: coding standards, documentation, automated tests and the deployment pipeline are set up so a new team can take the product over, and we can work alongside your hires during the transition.

### What drives the timeline and cost?

The first release scope, the tenancy model, billing complexity, which systems the product integrates with and when enterprise security requirements come in. Because the roadmap is phased, each phase is scoped and estimated separately.
