Software and AI for Bursa’s automotive suppliers and textile producers.

ALGOFACT is a Turkish software and AI engineering company working with automotive suppliers, textile and technical textile producers and exporters in Bursa. We build camera-based quality inspection, connect ERPs to OEM supplier portals and set up production data platforms. Projects begin with a 30-minute discovery call, and engineering is delivered from our offices in Adana and Ankara TEKMER under ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Teams in Bursa are served the same way; any on-site work is planned per project.

Bursa at a glance for an engineering buyer

Bursa’s industry grew around two sectors. According to the Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone’s own timeline, industrialization in the area began when the TOFAŞ car plant opened in 1971. In 2025 the zone counted 552 active companies and 37,233 employees, with about 70 percent of firms in textiles and 20 percent in automotive, plus 30 R&D centers and 6 design centers.

The province is also one of Türkiye’s largest exporters. Ministry of Trade data by company activity province ranks Bursa fourth in 2025, and its exports grew by USD 1.734 billion over the previous year, the fourth largest increase of any province.

If you source parts or fabric from Bursa, or run a plant there, the software questions tend to be concrete: traceability that an OEM audit will ask for, defects that slip past the end-of-line check, dispatch notices retyped into a customer portal, color and texture drift between lots. Each of those has a cost you can measure, which makes it a good starting point.

What a first project looks like

We start with a 30-minute discovery call about the loss you want to remove, the systems around it and the data available. If there is a fit, our founder presents a proposed scope to your team. For computer vision we usually recommend a short feasibility step: images are collected on the real line under real lighting, and we measure whether the defects can be separated before anyone commits to a full rollout.

Engineering runs from Adana and Ankara TEKMER. Camera and lighting placement, or observing a process on the shop floor, are planned case by case when they are needed. The system goes live with access control, monitoring and alert rules, and your team receives runbooks at handover.

For Turkish entities, BEBKA calls, KOSGEB support and TÜBİTAK’s 1501 and 1507 R&D programs are worth checking. Eligibility is decided by each institution; we provide the technical scope and work packages in a form you can use in an application.

Frequently asked in Bursa

Approach
01Do you have engineers based in Bursa?

No. Our engineering offices are in Adana (Çukurova) and Ankara TEKMER (Çankaya); Bursa is a service area. Meetings run online, and steps that need someone at the plant are planned during discovery.

02We buy parts from Bursa suppliers. Can you work on the supplier side of our chain?

Yes, if the supplier is part of the project. Typical cases are portal integration, shared traceability records and inspection data exchange. Data access and ownership are agreed with both parties at the start.

03Can a vision system be installed without stopping the line?

Usually. Cameras and lighting go in during a planned stop or between shifts, and the model first runs in observation mode next to operator decisions. It only starts rejecting parts after those results have been reviewed with your quality team.

04Can you work with a company inside ULUTEK or TEKNOSAB?

Yes, as a development partner. How externally sourced services are treated in a technology development zone R&D project depends on the zone management and regulations, so we recommend confirming that with your zone management.

05Do you work in English?

Yes. Discovery, documentation, runbooks and day-to-day project communication can run in English or Turkish, whichever your team prefers.
