If you buy towels or bed linen, you may already buy from Denizli
Denizli, in Türkiye’s inner Aegean region, exports billions of dollars of goods a year. The 2024-2028 regional plan of the South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA), using TÜİK data, puts the province’s 2022 exports at 4.51 billion dollars, led by textile products, basic metals, electrical machinery, metal goods and apparel. By 2023 data Denizli ranked first in Türkiye for home textile exports, more than 40 dyehouses operate in the province, and steel is the second-largest export line after apparel and ready-made goods.
That export profile shapes the software problem. European retailers want orders, shipping notices and sustainability data in their own formats, and a color complaint cannot be traced if the dye recipe, fabric lot and lab result live in different files. The plan also notes that a local software sector has been growing in step with these industries. For international buyers and for the mills themselves, our job is to turn production data into the evidence a customer asks for.
