ALGOFACT

Kayseri

Software and AI for Kayseri’s manufacturers.

ALGOFACT is a Turkish software and AI engineering company. For manufacturers in Kayseri, home to the largest organized industrial zone in central Anatolia’s TR72 region, we build order and dealer systems, ERP integrations, production data platforms and computer vision for quality control. Engineering runs from our offices in Adana and Ankara TEKMER under ISO 27001:2022. Every engagement starts with a 30-minute discovery call, and any work at your plant is scoped and scheduled during discovery.

What drives software demand in Kayseri

Kayseri is one of Türkiye’s established manufacturing cities. The 2024-2028 regional plan published by the Central Anatolia Development Agency (ORAN) names furniture, electrical household appliances and fabricated metal products as the dominant manufacturing sectors, and places the center of that activity in Kayseri OSB, an organized industrial zone where, by the plan’s count, about 80,000 people work. An OSB, or organized industrial zone, is a planned industrial estate where plants share infrastructure and services.

The same plan sets digital transformation of manufacturing as an early regional goal and says it will encourage the use of AI, big data analytics and advanced automation in production. It also cites value-chain studies for furniture and household appliances that found gaps in R&D, engineering knowledge, 3D modeling and design capability. For a buyer, that translates into practical projects: connecting dealer orders to production, measuring quality on the line instead of sampling it, and turning machine data into maintenance decisions.

Where Kayseri’s industrial and technology ecosystem sits

Kayseri OSB

Established by a Council of Ministers decree dated March 29, 1973, and renamed after merging with Hacılar OSB in 2003. ORAN describes it as the hub of manufacturing in the region.

Erciyes OSB

A 383-hectare zone that became a legal entity in December 2023. The regional plan expects around 200 industrial parcels and roughly 10,000 jobs once it is built out.

Erciyes Teknopark

The technology development zone linked to Erciyes University, offering pre-incubation and incubation, a technology transfer office and the TÜBİTAK BİGG startup program.

Universities

Erciyes University, Kayseri University, Abdullah Gül University and Nuh Naci Yazgan University, all useful partners for internships, theses and joint R&D on data and software projects.

Industrial districts

According to 2022 data cited by ORAN, 92 percent of the province’s manufacturing businesses operate in Melikgazi, Kocasinan and Hacılar.

Funding and incentive programs to know about

ORAN’s 2026 technical support program includes a TR72 manufacturing ecosystem track with a total budget of 8 million Turkish lira, covering training and consulting activities, with consulting support of up to 500,000 lira per project. Eligible applicants are the stakeholder types defined in the program guide, which is the document to check before assuming a company can apply directly.

At the national level, software-heavy projects are often discussed in the context of KOSGEB’s SME digital transformation support and TÜBİTAK’s 1501 industrial R&D and 1507 SME R&D start-up programs. We do not promise eligibility for any program. What we can do is write the technical scope, work packages and expected outputs clearly enough to be used in your application, while the decision to apply stays with you.

Working with an engineering team outside Kayseri

The first step is a 30-minute online discovery call about the process that costs you the most time, the systems you already run and how success should be measured. If the project is a fit, a founder presents the proposed scope, the main risks and, where risk is high, a proof of concept. Business analysis, architecture and the build then run from our engineering offices in Adana and Ankara TEKMER, and you test intermediate releases in a staging environment.

Some work does need the plant floor, such as camera placement for an inspection system or training for line operators. Whether that is needed, and when, is agreed during discovery and written into the project plan. We go live with access control and monitoring, hand over runbooks, and can keep an embedded team on the product after the first release.

Questions from Kayseri manufacturers

Approach
01Do you have an office or staff based in Kayseri?

No. Our engineering offices are in Adana (Çukurova) and Ankara TEKMER (Çankaya), and projects for Kayseri companies are delivered from there. Meetings run online, and any on-site steps are planned together during discovery.

02We are a foreign-owned plant in Kayseri. Can the project run in English?

Yes. Discovery, documentation and day-to-day project communication can run in English or Turkish, and the system itself can be delivered with both interfaces when your users need it.

03Can you connect our dealer orders to the ERP we already use?

Usually, yes. We integrate through the ERP’s API, database access or file exchange. How product options map to the ERP’s bill of materials is settled in the first analysis step.

04Can you partner with our company at Erciyes Teknopark on an R&D project?

Yes, as the software and AI partner. The split of work, reporting duties and intellectual property terms are written into the contract at the start, so it is clear which tasks sit with your company and which with ours.

05When would you need to visit our plant?

Not on every project. Vision systems that need camera placement and user training are the usual reasons. The timing and scope of any visit are agreed during discovery and added to the plan.
